Going green is the more popular term for environmentally friendly.  Supporters of the green movement emphasize that we need to enforce practices that promote the environment and are ecologically responsible.  The purpose of this is to help protect and preserve our natural resources.  Another great benefit is that environmentally friendly products are also safe for humans.
